What is Green Impact?
Green impact is a successful sustainability accreditation scheme developed by the National Union of Students in collaboration with the University of Bristol, the RCGP and NHS Health Education South West. It has been running since 2006.
Over 200 different organizations now take part, including universities and colleges, local authorities, NHS Trusts and dental practices.
The scheme empowers all staff in general practice to improve their environmental, ethical and economic sustainability, as well as efficiency and team morale and wellbeing. The scheme has been specifically tailored to the needs of modern general practice, helping the sector become more streamlined and creating a sustainable future in a rapidly changing NHS.
