Dr Sian Evans
MB BS 1999 University of London

Dr Sian Evans completed her training at Cambridge and St Mary's in 1999 and joined the team at Clapham Park Group Practice in 2003. Her areas of interest include Diabetes and women's health. 

In her free time, Dr Evans enjoys running, cycling and swimming and spending time with her family. 



Dr Samantha Brown
MB ChB 2000 University of Leeds

Dr Samantha Brown graduated from the University of Leeds in 2000.  She completed her GP training in Yorkshire and London and became a partner at the practice in 2005. Her areas of interest are contraception 
(including coils and implants), women’s health, mental health and paediatrics.

In her free time, Dr Brown enjoys spending time outdoors with her children.


Dr Rebecca Farrell
MB BS 2005 University of London (Currently on Maternity Leave. Due to return, January 2019)

Dr Rebecca Farrell studied at Cambridge University and University College London and qualified as a GP in 2010. She enjoys providing general clinics to all and has additional interests in contraception and musculoskeletal problems. She is able to fit implant and coils as well as perform steroid joint injections. 

Outside the world of work, Dr Farrell enjoys adventures as an expedition medic and outdoor sports. 


Dr Rosie Merriman
BM 2007 University of Southampton

Dr Rosie Merriman qualified from the University of Southampton in 2007 and completed her GP training in London on the Bromley vocational training scheme in 2013. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice but has particular interests in family planning – including fitting coils and implants, women’s health and diabetes.

Outside of work Dr Merriman enjoys playing tennis, travelling, playing the French Horn and going to the theatre.


Dr Andrew Boyd
BM 2004 University of Southampton

Since qualifying from Southampton Dr Boyd has worked in Cornwall, Devon, New Zealand, Cambodia, and most recently, London. His interests include elderly care and sustainable medicine, as well as GP education and global health. 

Away from work, Dr Boyd is at his happiest in the mountains – on bicycle, foot or skis. He also enjoys cooking and watching live music.


Dr Neeruj Patel
MB ChB 2009 University of Sheffield

Dr Neeruj Patel graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2009. He then moved to Manchester to study Surgery for 2 years before starting his GP training. He moved to London in 2016, and his areas of special interest are ENT, men's health, and general surgery. 

Dr Patel is a big sports fan following rugby, football, and cricket, and also enjoys his cooking and travelling the world. 


Dr Alison Varey
MB ChB 2010 University of Sheffield (Currently on Maternity Leave. Due to return, January 2019) 

Dr Alison Varey graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2010 and completed her GP training in London on the St Helier vocational training scheme in 2015. She enjoys the variety of General Practice but has particular interests in women's health, family planning (including fitting coils and implants) and palliative care. She is also involved in medical student teaching. 

In her spare time, Dr Varey enjoys walking & cycling as well as travelling and baking.

Dr Jenny Akhurst
MB ChB 2008 University of Bristol 

Dr Jenny Akhurst completed her  GP training with King's College Hospital in 2014. She has a particular interest in refugee and migrant health and mental health. Dr Akhurst completed an MSc in Public Health before joining the practice in September 2017. Dr Akhurst is also able to fit contraceptive implants. 

In her spare time, Dr Akhurst enjoys running, swimming, playing football and travelling.
