Covid-19 Vaccine

Your GP practice has joined forces with other local practices to roll out the COVID-19 (coronavirus) vaccinations from 11th January 2021.

We are excited to be playing a part in the fight against the virus. The vaccination is safe, effective and gives the best protection available at the moment against COVID-19 for you, your families and the community.

The order in which people will be offered the vaccine is decided nationally and the initial groups include:

  1. people aged 80 and over
  2. people who live or work in care homes
  3. Health care workers at high risk

The vaccine will then be rolled out by age group, to those at higher clinical risk and will be offered more widely as soon as possible. More information can be found here

If you are a patient and you think you may be eligible for a vaccine, please do not contact us - we will contact you in good time. If you have recently moved address, or changed contact details, please contact your surgery to update your details.

If you are a patient and are invited for vaccination, we strongly encourage you to say yes and get the vaccine! The vaccination is safe and effective and many of our staff have already had their first dose.

The first vaccines for our surgeries will be given at Hetherington Group Practice (18 Hetherington Rd SW4 7NU) and we are working to ensure the process will be safe, friendly and efficient. Do find out more, and ask us any questions you have after reading some of the information available.

If you know of someone who has been invited for vaccination it would be great if you could help them get the vaccination perhaps by assisting them with transport or helping them find any information they need.

We would like to hear from you if you want to join us in planning how we spread our local information about our vaccinations. If you would like to be part of this please send us a message via our secure online contact form
