Am I eligible for access to the Stop Smoking Services?

The criteria for access to the services is set out in Table 1 below:

Service Criteria
Pharmacy Stop Smoking Service Any Lambeth Resident who wishes to use pharmacy services to help them stop smoking, with a focus on routine and manual workers
GSTT Specialist Stop Smoking Service with SLaM Your GP can refer you to this service if you are a Lambeth resident who would like help to stop smoking AND you belong to one of the following target groups:
  • Women who are pregnant
  • Women and men who have children (priority under 5)
  • Patients living with one or more long term condition
  • People living with enduring mental health difficulties
  • Highly dependent smokers
The Stop Smoking London Portal Anyone who lives in Lambeth
 

How can I contact local stop smoking services?

  • The Stop Smoking London Portal: This offers support and advice by telephone from a trained advisor and promotes self-funded NRT use. Telephone number is 0300 123 1044. 
  • Lambeth Pharmacy Stop Smoking Services: Please click here to see details of all pharmacies that deliver stop smoking services in Lambeth, including addresses, contact details and opening times. Please ensure that you contact your desired pharmacy prior to attending to ensure that this service is still available. Patients can be signposted to any pharmacy that is convenient for them. They can call the pharmacy direct or walk in during the pharmacy open hours. Alternatively patients can be given the Stop Smoking Service freephone number 0800 856 3409 or 0203 049 5791 where they will be triaged accordingly.
