Housing Letter Position
Unfortunately, we have been instructed by the Council's housing department not to draft letters supporting patients' requests to be re-housed or have their banding reconsidered, as letters of this nature are not considered by the Council and ultimately have no effect on their decision.
We are able to provide patients with a brief summary of their medical records, which will include information on your active and significant past health problems, and you can share this with the housing department if you wish. We are not able to comment directly on patients' housing conditions and how these affect their health beyond what is recorded in their notes. If the Council Housing department require further evidence from the GP, they will get in touch with us directly to request this.
If you would like to be sent a brief summary of your medical records, please request this via our contact form or contact the practice on 020 8678 5420
